Currently being offered in Calgary; this 5-day course has been developed to prepare our Members for the construction worksite and introduce the basic fundamentals of concrete and concrete formwork. It is Part 1 of a 5-course program that will build on fundamental skills as well as concepts related to formwork in many different areas and scopes of work. Alberta Concrete 1 will require participants to demonstrate both skill and knowledge of the curriculum and material presented in this course.
Members will be evaluated daily by instructors on their ability to perform these tasks as they were demonstrated while keeping safety the main priority. Quality and efficiency will be fostered as these skills and understanding progress. Members will be required to work individually as well as in small groups and work crews throughout the course.

A list of Tools and PPE required to participate in class will be emailed to you with your registration confirmation.

Class is 8:30am - 4:00pm daily
